PERFORM Centre

Concordia’s PERFORM Centre provides an integrated and comprehensive environment that promotes healthy living through research, education and preventive-based programs. The centre brings researchers, students and the community together in a state-of-the-art clinical research facility. PERFORM researchers focus on how to best manage injury, chronic disease and quality of life by making changes in lifestyle and behaviour.

The centre engages the community by offering health programs and services to the general population, as well as through the opportunity to participate in ground-breaking research. Programs and services developed at PERFORM are based on expert research conducted on the best equipment available. Concordia students at all levels contribute to community engagement, as well as the ongoing delivery of programs and services. This is an extension of Concordia’s longstanding commitment to the well-being of the community-at-large.

PERFORM’s cutting-edge research helps Concordia establish itself as a unique contributor to the field of health research in Montreal and beyond. In keeping with its mission to support initiatives that foster a greater good for Canadian society, the R. Howard Webster Foundation is proud to be investing in the next generation of preventive health, education and research.
